1. Acceptance of terms

By using cognivault.org or placing an order with Cognivault Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our site or services.

2. Services

We create original audio summaries and short-form videos based on peer-reviewed research papers you supply. Every episode is custom-made and begins production immediately upon order confirmation.

3. Pricing & payment

Prices are as displayed at checkout and are fixed. Individuals pay in full via Stripe. Institutions may use official purchase orders; we invoice with a 45-day payment term.

4. Refunds & cancellation

Because every episode is custom-made and work begins immediately, we are unable to offer refunds or cancellations once an order is accepted and payment processed.

Exceptions (within 14 days):

Accidental duplicate purchase
Technical fault preventing access to final files
Episode removed for copyright reasons after delivery

5. Revisions

Unlimited revisions are included free of charge for 7 calendar days following delivery of the first complete version. After this period, further changes are treated as a new project.

6. Delivery times

All delivery dates are target dates only. While we consistently meet or beat them, they are not guaranteed and cannot form the basis of any refund or penalty claim.

7. Intellectual property & licensing

Every Cognivault audio and video episode is an original work released under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0).

You receive full ownership and unrestricted non-commercial re-use rights. Commercial use requires a separate licence.

The original research paper remains under its own licence. We only link to legally permitted versions.

8. Limitation of liability

We are not responsible for delays caused by narrator illness, technical failures beyond our control, or inaccurate information you provide. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
