We only collect what is necessary to deliver our service:

• Name and email address (when you create an account or place an order)
• Billing and shipping details (for orders)
• Your uploaded research paper (only for production)
• Correspondence (emails, support messages)
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device info (via Google Analytics – anonymised)

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing.

How we use your data

• To create and deliver your audio/video episode
• To send order confirmations, updates, and download links
• To provide customer support
• To improve our website (anonymised analytics)
• To comply with legal obligations (e.g. tax, accounting)

Legal basis: Contract (to fulfil your order), Legitimate interests (support & site improvement), Consent (newsletter).

Data storage & security

Your data is stored securely in the UK/EU on encrypted servers. We use Stripe for payments — we never see or store your card details.

Research papers are deleted from our systems 30 days after final delivery unless you ask us to keep them.
